Wuh Duh Fuh. Express Yourself.

In 2005, the year before coining “Zenatude,” I coined “Wuh Duh Fuh.” It was meant to be funny and inspire people to laugh, not be offensive in any way. The USPTO didn’t see it that way and my trademark application was turned down in 2006.

Fast forward to March 2024, Wuh Duh Fuh joins Zenatude as my second official U.S. trademark.

At first glance, these two words may appear contradictory, but their mission statements are quite similar.

Zenatude: 

To spread more understanding, acceptance, and kindness… to spread more joy in the world.

Wuh Duh Fuh:

To spread more joy in the world and inspire people to laugh often, be authentic, and always express yourself.

For some reason, I’m finding that people are more interested in wearing a Wuh Duh Fuh hat than a Zenatude one. Hmmm, go figure.

There’s a whole lot of branding work ahead of me, but I sure am enjoying the journey as I continue to do with Zenatude.
